Why are these prices below market?
Obsidian Studio is a new studio building its portfolio. Founding-client rates are intentionally below Ontario-market norms and rise as our case-study list grows. Locking in at today's number locks you out of that rise. Early clients get genuine value and a rate we won't be able to offer again.
Why are these prices ranges, not a single number?
Final cost depends on content readiness (do you have photos, copy, reviews ready or do we source them?), the number of service-area pages you want generated, and how many revision rounds you want baked in. The fixed-price proposal is sent after you pick a tier — no surprise invoices.
Do I own the website after it's built?
Yes. Domain, code, images, copy — yours. We retain none of it. If you walk away, everything comes with you.
How long does a build take?
Starter: 7–10 days. Growth: 14–21 days. Pro: 21–35 days. These assume content handoff (photos, logo, copy, reviews) happens within the first 3 days of kickoff.
What industries do you build for?
Local service businesses — contractors, trades, hospitality, retail, professionals, home services. If someone searches for your service in your area and lands on a website, we can build that funnel better.
